Jiffy Lube Donates to Fargo Flood Relief
Jiffy Lube® franchise owners nationwide have banded together to donate over 330 Signature Service® oil change gift cards, totaling more than $12,000, in an effort to help flood victims in Fargo. Karn Jilek, co-owner of the Fargo Jiffy Lubes announced today that Jiffy Lube stores in Fargo have partnered with the Salvation Army to make sure the gift cards make it into the hands of the families most impacted by the flood.
Jilek said “Jiffy Lube franchisees across the country were contacting us as national awareness of the flood grew. They were so impressed with how the Fargo-Moorhead community came together that they wanted to help our recovery efforts.” Franchisees from Alaska to Washington, DC and from North Dakota to New Mexico sent very generous donations. “We are overwhelmed by the generosity of our fellow Jiffy Lube franchisees and corporate personnel. Some of our vendors even stepped up and donated. Everyone was just so impressed with our community.”
Anyone impacted by the flood and in need of a Jiffy Lube Signature Service Oil Change gift card can stop by The Salvation Army at 304 Roberts Street, Fargo between 9 and 4 Monday through Friday and request one.
“I am proud to be a part of the Jiffy Lube franchise community and grateful that our fellow franchisees enabled us to help the Fargo-Moorhead community,” said Jilek.
